Lower Carb Eating with Nick Wray from 360me Nutrition

At Move for Better Health, we pride ourselves on providing services that cover every pillar of health through our multidisciplinary offering. While it is fairly obvious that the team at 360me Nutrition is focused on none other than nutrition, our DISCOVER 2022 conference gave us the opportunity to learn specifically about one very important area of diet which is carbohydrate intake, which ended with a lot of us in the audience making some adjustments to our diets!


There are many misconceptions about the value of carbohydrates in a healthy diet. As a result, it is hard to know what carbohydrates actually do for us, how many we need, and how best to manage the amount and quality of carbohydrates we put into our bodies. 

While carbohydrates are crucial to our health as they are the body’s primary source of energy and help to keep your body functioning at an optimal level, Nick Wray from 360me Nutrition taught us how to keep our body properly fueled by taking in the right type of carbohydrates, and how to structure daily intake with a lower overall amount of carbohydrates.  

Why a Lower Carb Diet?

While a lower carb diet (implemented correctly & safely through the help of a health professional) can often be beneficial generally, this type of diet has been found to be especially effective for those with insulin-resistant conditions such as:
