With over 20 years experience in private practice, Peter has a special interest in the treatment of headaches and migraines, as well as Pilates classes & courses. Peter also works with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute to teach other health professionals how to teach Pilates.
Graduating in 1996, Peter Tziavrangos has experience working in Australia and the UK, working in hospitals, private practice, with sporting teams and in occupational/industrial Physiotherapy.
Peter has a particular interest and skill in the management of headache and migraines, and has developed the assessment and treatment approach used by Move for Better Health™ to help people with these common problems. Learn more about our approach to headache treatment here.
Adding to his experience of 20+ years Physiotherapy and Pilates experience, he also has trained as an athlete and managed his own injuries, so has great insight and empathy to help you train at an appropriate level, regardless of your age or injury status.
Peter has maintained an interest in occupational health and industrial Physiotherapy, and offers individual home and work-place based ergonomic assessments where it is considered that poor set up in these areas may be contributing to stubborn pain presentations. He also provides workplace wellness seminars on topics such as manual handling, ergonomics, Pilates and exercise.
Peter has been teaching Pilates to clients since 2000, after his first training course in London with APPI. Since then he has gone on to train with some of the leading Pilates Trainers in the world.
Peter is the South Australian teacher for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, and Move for Better Health™ is the host studio for all courses held here in SA. In addition to running APPI courses, he is often teaching interstate also.
As a dad of two young kids he keeps pretty busy between the practice and school/sports commitments, but wouldn’t have it any other way! When he is not flat out as a husband, father, physio or practice owner, Peter can usually be found riding his bike somewhere in the Adelaide Hills – That’s usually before 7am on a Sunday!
