Debbie Prinsloo

Physiotherapist at Move Physio

Debbie is an experienced Physio who relocated to Australia with her family in 2022. She brought a wealth of knowledge with her, and loves the challenge of working with each person individually to figure out what the underlying issues are, and how to resolve them.

Debbie is available to see clients at Malvern for assessments and a number of equipment classes.

  • Extra Studies: Dry Needling, Sacro-Iliac Joint Dysfunction, Post-Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy
  • Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa
  • Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association, Health Professions Council of South Africa

Debbie has been a Physiotherapist for close to 25 years, where she has worked in a range of different settings including her own private practice, hospitals, teaching and with athletes & sporting clubs. She has spent most of her life in South Africa, until 2022 when she relocated to South Australia with her family!

In Debbie’s earlier years, she sustained several whiplash injuries which led her to seeing a Physiotherapist. After experiencing the benefits herself, this sparked a professional interest and became her career.

Debbie is a very hands-on physio and enjoys the manual therapy aspect of her work. She has also undertaken a number of professional development courses to expand her knowledge in Dry Needling, mobilisation and myofascial treatment. She helps people experiencing a wide range of issues, including back pain, neck pain, SIJ pain, sporting injuries and more!

Outside of her working life, Debbie loves running, Pilates, tennis, reading & of course spending time with her family.
