Kristin Konstandopoulos

Physiotherapist

Kristin is a Physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, particularly lower-limb injuries and rehabilitation. He enjoys working with people across a broad range of conditions, from TMJ disorders, acute injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation through to persistent pain and longer-term conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis.

Kristin takes a personalised approach to treatment, combining hands-on physiotherapy techniques with exercise-based rehabilitation. With a background in Exercise and Sport Science, strength and conditioning, and competitive sport, he has a strong focus on helping people build confidence in movement, improve their physical capacity and work towards meaningful goals. He takes the time to understand what is important to each person and develops practical, tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans to help them return to the activities, sport or everyday tasks that matter to them.

Kristin is available to see clients at Bayside Physio & Pilates for assessments, rehabilitation, and exercise sessions.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Master of Physiotherapy (Graduate Entry)
  • Membership: Australian Physiotherapy Association
  • Professional Achievements: Merit Award in UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance (2020)

Kristin’s interest in physiotherapy has been strongly shaped by his own experience in competitive sport. A black belt in Taekwondo and accomplished soccer player, he made his A-League debut for Adelaide United FC in 2018 and has competed for many years at the highest level of soccer in South Australia. His own experiences with sporting injuries and rehabilitation have given him a strong appreciation of the physical and psychological challenges involved in recovering from injury and returning to sport.

Kristin also has a background in strength and conditioning, having worked with athletes across a range of ages and sporting levels. This experience continues to influence his approach to physiotherapy, focusing on progressive exercise, building physical capacity, and developing rehabilitation programs that are specific to each person’s goals.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys keeping active, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends. He is also a keen follower of sport and enjoys exploring Adelaide’s café scene, and is always happy to hear a good coffee or brunch recommendation!

You can see Kristin at our Bayside Physio & Pilates clinic. To book, give us a call or book online!
