Physiotherapist

Evan is a physiotherapist who enjoys combining critical thinking, problem solving, and a passion for helping others to support people in achieving their goals. He has a particular interest in managing recent and painful injuries, sporting injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and long-term conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and low back pain.

After growing up on a vineyard in the Riverland, Evan relocated to Adelaide to complete his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of South Australia. He began his career as a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist in Naracoorte and Bordertown, where he gained diverse experience across private practice, aged care, paediatrics, and group rehabilitation programs. This role also saw him working with sporting injuries, tendinopathy, post-surgical rehabilitation, and also worked with local sports clubs.

Evan also brings his own sporting background into his physiotherapy career. He has worked with the South Australian Junior Indoor Cricket teams at the Indoor Cricket National Championships, focusing on injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation for young athletes.

Alongside this, he currently plays for Tea Tree Gully Cricket Club in South Australia’s Premier Cricket Competition, 1st Division. His playing career has also included representing South Australia at Under 19 level, as well as the SA Outbacks, where he was awarded the Don Woon Medal and named in the Australian Country Cricket Championships Team of the Tournament.

Outside of cricket, Evan enjoys playing golf and keeping active through running and the gym. He’s also an avid café and restaurant explorer!
