✅ Exclusive discounts on treatment at our clinics – you will receive10% discount on any Physiotherapy treatment appointments outside of your screening appointments and acute assessments.
Physiotherapy Screening Program
To reduce the risk of injury on the field, we recommend each player who wants to be eligible for 1st Grade selection participates in our athlete screening and review program.
- What to book: 45 minute initial Physiotherapy Assessment at the commencement of preseason training. This is followed by a 30 minute review appointment early – midseason to check in regarding your health and injury status.
- Cost: Private health insurance rebates will be accepted as full payment, so there is no out of pocket expense. Players will be required to provide their private health insurance cards on the day of the appointment. If you do not have private health insurance, or you forget your card on the day – there will be a $30 fee. This can be claimed back on your private health afterwards in the event that you just don’t have it on the day.
Acute Injury Assessments
For players requiring acute assessment of injuries sustained on the weekend.
The purpose of this assessment is to determine what action will be taken to manage the injury, which may include further physiotherapy appointments for treatment, referral for imaging or medical assessment.
- What to book: 15 minute ‘triage’ assessment with a physiotherapist at our clinics as soon as possible following the injury.
- Cost: Private health insurance rebates will be accepted as full payment, so there is no out of pocket expense. Players will be required to provide their private health insurance cards on the day of the appointment. If you do not have private health insurance, or you forget your card on the day – there will be a $30 fee. This can be claimed back on your private health afterwards in the event that you just don’t have it on the day.
Standard Physio Appointments
All other physiotherapy appointments required by players (other than the Physiotherapy Screening Program and Acute Injury Assessments) throughout the season will be offered a 10% discount at the clinic.
- What to book: These can be 45 minutes for assessments or long appointments, or a standard 30 minute follow up.
- Cost: Private health insurance rebates also apply, to further reduce any out of pocket expenses.
