Jason’s introduction to Physiotherapy was on the receiving end of treatment and rehabilitation during his time playing basketball growing up. This experience culminated into an interest in the human body and movement-based practices. This eventually led to his passion for sporting injuries and the rehabilitation process. His growing interest in how the human body works was then coupled with the passion for helping people get back to, as well as maintaining, the ability to do the things they enjoy and that are important to them.
Since then, Jason studied a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Exercise Science & Physiology) in which he also achieved the title of Valedictorian for the School of Health Sciences. Jason then went on to complete a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). After completing his studies, Jason has gained a wide range of professional experience by working in private practice, orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, as well as working with sporting clubs such as Norwood Football Club, Queensland Netball for Men and Women, as well as the Adelaide University Gridiron team. Jason has also been engaged in the community when he is able, including being the volunteer physio at the Memorial Drive Tennis Club 2023 Open!
When he’s not at work, you might find Jason playing basketball, learning a new skill, or satisfying his sweet tooth!
