Georgia Orchard  

Physiotherapist at Eastern Sports and Spinal Care

Georgia is a physiotherapist who can see people with all types of common muscle and joint problems. She can also assist those with poor bone health, specifically with osteopenia/osteoporosis as well as those with osteoarthritis. She enjoys assisting those with spinal (cervical, thoracic and lumbar) issues and helping people regain and exceed their previous function when returning from acute injuries.

Georgia is available to see clients for treatment and classes at Magill.

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Exercise Science University of Tasmania; Master of Physiotherapy (Graduate Entry) University of South Australia

  • Additional Study: GLA:D program – hip and knee osteoarthritis; Pilates Floor and Equipment

Georgia began her professional journey in Tasmania where she worked alongside Exercise Physiologists to provide multidisciplinary care for her clients. During this time she was also able to work as part of the support team for the cycling team at the Tasmanian Institute of Sport. Georgia moved to Adelaide to complete her Masters degree and began working with Eastern Sports and Spinal Care in 2021. During her time at Eastern Sports and Spinal Care, she has been able to gain a wide range of professional experience working with acute injuries as well as a range of Pilates Floor and Equipment Classes.

In her down time,  you may spot Georgia enjoying the sunshine at the beach or keeping fit at the gym. When she is able to head home to Tasmania, she particularly enjoys taking her horse Roger  out for a ride with her mum and sisters.
