Pilates is a system of exercises designed to attain and maintain optimal fitness. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s, it is based on the belief that conscious control and understanding of movement is paramount to forming good habits.
Pilates exercises can be done on the floor with additional equipment (such as resistance bands and balls) or on Pilates machines including the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Multi-chair and Spine Corrector.

All of our Pilates classes are run by Physiotherapists, who have undertaken additional training in the Pilates method, so you can expect high quality teaching from someone who understands your body and movement.
