Lisa Osmond

Physiotherapist at Bayside Physiotherapy and Pilates

Lisa is a physiotherapist who has a lot of experience in helping people with problems relating to muscles, joints and bones, like neck and back pain, tendon issues, and osteoarthritis. She can also assist women with issues tied to pregnancy, both during and after, as well as conditions that can affect women after menopause.

Lisa’s dedication to exercise-based rehabilitation led her to pursue further intensive training in Pilates. She completed her certification in Polestar Pilates rehabilitation in 2011, which is an international Pilates qualification. Lisa employs a holistic approach that combines hands-on treatment, acupuncture, and exercise/Pilates rehabilitation.

She is always striving to help clients achieve their professional, recreational, and fitness objectives.

After graduating in 1997 from the University of SA, Lisa gained experience in public hospitals in Sydney and Darwin. She later transitioned to private practice, where her career took a sports-oriented turn while in Darwin, working alongside Sports Physicians and serving as the Physiotherapist for a successful Northern Territory football league team.

Upon returning to Adelaide in 2007, Lisa joined Bayside Physiotherapy and became an integral part of the Glenelg community, focusing on the health and well-being of its residents.

Outside of work Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and is kept busy with her 2 daughters. As a past state netball representative for the NT, Lisa enjoys supporting her daughters netball teams and taking on coaching roles.

In the summertime, Lisa spends time on the beaches of Glenelg supporting the nippers at Glenelg surf life saving club. Lisa enjoys keeping fit in the outdoors and caravanning with her family.
