Marcela is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, who enjoys helping people to improve their diet and nutrition through personalised, evidence-based plans.

Marcela was born in Columbia, and originally was drawn to Dietetics and Nutritional studies to help malnourished children in her country. She was also an athlete for 19 years, which gave her an additional interest in sports nutrition.

Marcela moved to Adelaide, Australia in 2016 to continue her Dietetics studies. She completed her Masters at Flinders University and has since been working with 360me in private practice with adults, adolescents and children.

Marcela sees people for a range of dietary or nutritional issues or conditions, including obesity, IBS, Diabetes and more. You can learn more about what Dietitians are and the types of conditions they see here.

In addition to her private practice work in Adelaide, she also worked as a Dietitian at the Swimming League of the State of Antioquia, Colombia.

Outside of work, Marcela loves having adventures around Australia with her family, dancing, painting, cycling and camping.
