Josephine, or Jo for short, grew up playing all different kinds of sports which fostered her passion for exercise and movement. She has a particular interest in oncology (helping to manage cancer and cancer treatment symptoms) in addition to general movement, fitness or strength improvement.
Jo grew up playing a variety of sports (especially soccer!) and was naturally drawn to being an Exercise Physiologist. After growing up in a small country town in rural NSW, she moved to Adelaide in 2013 to commence her studies.
Exercise Physiology allows her to share that passion and knowledge with her clients in a way which will improve their health, confidence, and quality of life. The relationships formed in this environment are unique, and being a part of a client’s journey to a better version of themselves is the most rewarding part of her work!
Jo sees wide range of clients who want to improve their general health and fitness, or improve or rehabilitate a health condition or injury. She has a strong interest in oncology, helping clients manage their cancer and treatment related symptoms which can include fatigue, neuropathy, etc. She also enjoys working with clients experiencing musculoskeletal issues like knee and back pain.
Outside of work, Jo’s sport is soccer! She loves the game and has done so since she was 10. She current plays in the Women’s National Premier League at Fulham United. Otherwise you’ll catch her at the beach or trying a new restaurant around Adelaide!
Jo practices at Move for Better Health’s Magill location, as well as iNform Health & Fitness Solutions Norwood location. You can book to see her at Magill online here, or by calling 7078 0303.
