Imogen Haylock

Physiotherapist at Move Physio

Imogen sees people experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal issues. She works with an evidence based focus and modern treatment methods, and can provide hands on treatment and guided exercises to her patients.

  • Professional Achievements: 2018 winner of the Geoffrey Maitland Prize (highest aggregate mark in Primary and Ambulatory Care in Physiotherapy and Advanced Rehabilitation in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
  • Extra Studies: SA Sports Medicine Association Level 1 Sports Trainer Accreditation
  • Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (receiving two University Merit Awards)
  • Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association, Life Member of the Golden Key International Honour Society

After a life long interest in movement and sports, including Soccer, Surf Life Saving, Tennis and Dance, Imogen decided to pursue a career in Physiotherapy.

Imogen particularly enjoys learning how and why we move, and applying this knowledge to herself and her patients. She aims to help each patient achieve optimal movements, not just looking at the area where there is pain, but looking at the whole body and seeing if there are other contributing factors.

Hands-on Physiotherapy, home exercises, supervised Equipment exercises and Pilates are all examples of what Imogen may use in a course of treatment.

In her time away from work, Imogen is passionate about keeping healthy and maintaining her fitness. When she’s not working, you can usually find her outdoors on a running or hiking track!
