Heather enjoys working with clients 1:1 to get them back to doing what they love. She particularly enjoys seeing DVA and NDIS clients, as well as those wanting to improve their mental health or chronic pain.
Heather Gurner has always been interested in all things sport, especially Athletics & Volleyball, even if it was often to her own detriment! She unfortunately sustained a few sporting related injuries in her younger years, however this motivated her to pursue a career where she could help others avoid similar experiences.
In her work as an Exercise Physiologist, she sees a range of different people, including those who have never exercised before, those who have difficulty exercising due to their health conditions, amateur sporting enthusiasts, and high performing athletes.
Heather particularly loves working with DVA and NDIS clients, as she can often get to know them over time and make real and measurable changes to their day to day lives.
Heather practices out of Move for Better Health’s Malvern clinic, as well as iNform Health & Fitness Solutions‘ home base at Norwood.
