Eliza is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who is passionate about empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to achieve their nutritional goals.
As a competitive dancer, Eliza appreciates the role of nutrition in optimising health and performance. Eliza also has a strong interest in weight management, diabetes, IBS and disordered eating. As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Eliza implements evidence-based strategies tailored to the individual to create safe and sustainable dietary improvements.
Eliza can see people for a range of dietetics related issues, and is particularly interested in weight management, Bariatric Surgery, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Diabetes and Eating Disorders.
Eliza completed her Clinical Placement at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, specialising in Renal ward and the Diabetes outpatient clinic. She also had placement experience at the Lyell McEwin hospital developing menus for Renal and IBS patients, as well as the Women’s and Children’s Hospital reviewing the Refeeding Guidelines for patients with Eating Disorders.
Over the past year, Eliza has worked with 360-me & EvolvME in developing educational resources for individuals undergoing Bariatric Surgery. These resources include recipes, cooking demonstrations and theory videos aimed to support the client through their pre and post-operative journey.
Eliza’s personal interests include Calisthenics (both a competitor and coach), Mindful activities including Yoga and Pilates, and spending time with friends and family.
