Physiotherapist

Mel has a special interest in clinical Pilates, and enjoys teaching classes and courses to help a range of individuals improve their movement.

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy), Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation

Mel Teo graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) in 2010, and has worked across Australia and the UK in hospitals and private practice. She has completed Graduate Diploma in Neuro Rehabilitation, and has years of experience helping patients recover from strokes, brain or spinal injury in hospital settings.

After experiencing the benefits of Pilates first hand, Mel set out to study clinical Pilates to incorporate it into her repertoire as a Physiotherapist. She studied the APPI Matwork and Equipment series through Unite Health, and teaches a range of classes or courses at Move. Mel particularly enjoys developing Pilates programmes for those needing help with improving their fitness, balance, mobility and trunk control.
